White Spring Truffle

Tuber albidum Pico

It is similar to the white truffle, but smaller, less perfumed and less expensive. The surface is smooth with a yellow-orange colour. It has a reddish-brown gleba with numerous branch veins. It releases a smell who remind the garlic. Harvest period: January – April.
